How Do I Get A Yelp Sticker For My Business?

A great rating on Yelp is a huge boost for businesses. To encourage customers to post reviews, request a Yelp sticker to put up at your store.

You’ve seen Yelp stickers before, and you probably understand that they’re good for business.

Yelp is one of the most popular review sites on the web with millions of unique users each month.

If you own a local business, having an active Yelp page with high ratings is a great way to increase traffic and encourage sales.

You can further benefit from Yelp’s prominence by adding one of their logo stickers to your brick and mortar. It may encourage a passersby to look you up online or to stop into your store.

While there are some knockoff stickers floating around the web, we prefer the two official options offered by Yelp.

Below we explain how you can get your hands on one.

“Find Us On Yelp” Sticker

businesses located in the U.S. and Canada

For businesses located in the U.S. and Canada, this Yelp sticker is free and easy to access.

Visit this site and fill out the requested information.

Three to four weeks after clicking submit you’ll receive a “Find Us On Yelp” sticker in the mail.

“People Love Us On Yelp” Sticker

Yelp

According to their site, Yelp issues these coveted stickers to businesses that qualify twice a year.

There isn’t an option to request a sticker and Yelp doesn’t provide explicit information on what businesses must do to qualify. Overall, the process of acquiring a “People Love Us On Yelp” sticker is a bit mysterious.

For those looking to increase their chances of earning one of these stickers, we recommend taking the following steps:

Claim your page on Yelp

If you want to be on Yelp’s radar, you first need to create a listing for your business.

Visit https://biz.yelp.com/support/claiming and then follow the directions to get started.

Optimize your page

Yelp isn’t handing out stickers to just everyone, so you’ll need to go beyond the basics if you want to get noticed.

Fill out your profile with all the information that would benefit potential customers, like your business hours and whether your location offers free Wi-Fi.

You can also share photos, offer coupons, post your menu, and even allow customers to request appointments directly on your page.

Take advantage of all the other opportunities that Yelp offers and you’ll be that much closer to qualifying for a sticker.

Respond to reviews

The single best way to prove that people truly love you on Yelp is through positive reviews.

And how can you earn more reviews? Respond to the ones you receive.

Research shows that answering your customers online not only encourages other people to post additional reviews, but improves your overall rating.

Start thanking everyone who gives you five stars on Yelp and follow-up with those who are less than satisfied to see what you can do to improve their experience.

Not only will you increase your odds at earning a Yelp sticker, you’ll be providing the best possible service to your guests.
