Widewail Welcomes Melissa Terrell as First Chief Operating Officer

Widewail welcomes Melissa Terrell as COO to drive growth and enhance customer intelligence in automotive retail.

Today, we are announcing an important addition to the Widewail leadership team: Melissa Terrell has joined us as our first Chief Operating Officer.

As we enter our next phase of growth under CEO Cuyler Owens, expanding our internal operations and infrastructure is a top priority. We are thrilled to have Melissa on board to help drive this growth and accelerate market-wide adoption of Widewail’s Customer Intelligence Engine.

“Melissa is a rare leader who combines operational discipline with a deep appreciation for the voice of the customer,” shared Cuyler Owens, CEO of Widewail. “Her commitment to building organizations that listen to their customers aligns perfectly with Widewail’s mission. Melissa’s leadership will help us expand the reach of our Customer Intelligence Engine and deepen the value we deliver to dealers and OEM partners.”

Deep Roots in Automotive and Customer Experience
Melissa brings an extensive track record of automotive tech leadership to this new role. Most recently, she served as the EVP of Customer Experience at Dealerware. During her tenure there, she worked closely with automotive retailers, dealer groups, and OEM partners to modernize fleet and loaner management, helping dealerships and mobility providers navigate changing consumer expectations and digital transformation.

Recognized as a 2022 Gainsight GameChanger Transformational Leader, Melissa combines this operational expertise with a genuine commitment to the customer experience. She is also a graduate and proud alumna of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.

Accelerating Our Next Chapter
For our team and our partners, Melissa’s leadership means an accelerated path forward as we continue to set the standard for customer intelligence in the industry.

As Melissa notes: “Automotive retail is undergoing a profound shift, and the dealerships that thrive will be the ones that truly listen to their customers. Widewail’s Customer Intelligence Engine represents the future of automotive operations — transforming authentic customer feedback into the insights dealers need to make smarter decisions, strengthen relationships, and build businesses that last.”

We are excited to see the impact Melissa will have on our operations, our products, and the automotive community at large.

Please join us in welcoming her to the Widewail team.
