Dealers Generating 100+ Google Reivews/Month Hit an All-Time High

In Q2, the number of dealers producing 100 or more Google reviews per month reached an all-time high, with 787 dealers.

While accounting for only 4.4% of dealers, the number is up 51% over the 2024 average.

Of the 787 dealers, what brands do they represent?

Toyota, mostly.

Honda and Ford also have a strong showing.

When we look at growth QoQ, only one brand saw a drop in dealers with 100+ reviews: Nissan, down 18%.

Audi, off a small base, grew the most at 250%.

Q2 was also good for the luxury brands, with Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Lexus growing by 18% or more.

Unsurprisingly, each of these represents a brand with a future risk of tariff exposure. This has pull-forward activity written all over it.

While I hope these brands can maintain this momentum, we can expect a slowdown in the second half of the year.
